Call to report a missing or found pet. CenCom maintains a log of lost and found pets in the Antioch and Round Lake area, we can can help return it to the owner.
Text to 911
CenCom accepts text to 911, however surrounding areas do not. If text to 911 is not available you will receive a bounce back message advising you to make a voice call. If you do not receive a response to your text to 911, make a voice call.
Did you call 911 on accident?
It happens to the all of us, you pocket dial 911, what should you do?
Please stay on the phone and let us know. We will ask a couple routine questions to verify the information we have received and let you go. If you disconnected, we will call back to determine if there is a problem. If we can’t get a hold of someone we may have to send responders to the area. Staying on the line to let us know it was a misdial saves time and resources.
Medical and Fire Protocols
CenCom uses scripted protocols for medical and fire calls, our questions do not delay response, they are designed to determine the appropriate response for you. The protocols also provide instructions to relay to the caller in life threatening situations. We can walk you through CPR, AED use, Narcan, bleeding control, etc. You will be asked the following standard questions:
“What is the address of your emergency?
What is the phone number you are calling from?
Okay, tell me exactly what happened.
